Baseball Recap: North Kansas City Comes Up Short

North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Park Hill South Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 back in April.

North Kansas City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorden Dobbeleare, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Park Hill South, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season.

North Kansas City has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 defeat against Liberty on the 12th. As for Park Hill South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-2 victory against Central on the 12th.
