Salpointe Catholic entered their tilt with Sahuaro on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-16.

Kate Mobley paced Salpointe Catholic's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mobley got some help from Brooklyn Burgle and her 16 assists. Mobley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Salpointe Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Sahuaro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.
