Soccer Recap: Dos Pueblos Comes Up Short

Dos Pueblos's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the San Marcos Royals. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dos Pueblos fell to 7-1-2. As for San Marcos, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dos Pueblos will take on Oxnard at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Oxnard has won four straight at home, while Dos Pueblos won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for San Marcos, they will challenge Buena at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
