Baseball Recap: Homer-Center Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

While Homer-Center's victory against Marion Center wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Stingers on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Stingers: they've now won four in a row.

Collin Dunn was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Brayden Rado was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Homer-Center pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marion Center, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Homer-Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion Center, they will host Purchase Line at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
