Volleyball Recap: Northview Titans vs. Perry Panthers
Northview and Perry squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northview had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Perry Panthers by a score of 3-2. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-20 in the first set.
Northview took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 21-25, 25-11, 15-8.
Madisyn Gallagher was nothing short of spectacular for Perry: she had 14 digs and six aces. The dominant performance gave Gallagher a new career-high in aces.
Northview's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Perry, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-17.
Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perry, they will host East Forsyth at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
