Corona has gone 4-0 against Paloma Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Corona Panthers face off against the Paloma Valley Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Corona's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Paloma Valley has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Corona saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They lost 97-74 to Ramona.

Meanwhile, Paloma Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 42-38 to Foothill. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 795th in California, while the Falcons are ranked 25th in Nevada).

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Paloma Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Corona won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January of 2024, slipping by Paloma Valley 60-59. Will Corona repeat their success, or does Paloma Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
