Aspermont put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Rule Bobcats 56-6. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 250th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aspermont's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Rule, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Aspermont will challenge Lueders-Avoca at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
