Atascadero entered their tilt with Bishop Diego on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Cardinals.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Atascadero got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18.

Ezri Karp paced Atascadero's offense, picking up five kills. Karp got some help from Marlee Megason and her nine assists. Chloe Dabbs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Atascadero's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bishop Diego, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

Atascadero wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Cabrillo on the 27th. As for Bishop Diego, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Nordhoff on the 26th.
