Soccer Game Preview: Methuen vs. Tewksbury Memorial

The Methuen Rangers are taking a road trip to square off against the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Methuen's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Methuen is headed into the match having not lost since September 23 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Dracut finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Tewksbury Memorial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Scarlet Knights. That's two games straight that Tewksbury Memorial have won by just one goal.

With that draw, Methuen's record moves to 7-2-6. As for Tewksbury Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2.
