League recap: Caravalho dominating on the mound for Morro Bay

Morro Bay's Colt Caravalho was the best pitcher in Los Padres this week. He struck out seven batters this week.

Cabrillo outperformed the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Conquistadores beat Paso Robles 13-4 and Santa Maria 6-4.

Templeton boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

12 batters hit over .400 this week. The group was paced by chris taitague, who collected six hits in eight at bats for a .750 average.

Six RBIs over the past week allowed Lompoc's Tyler Ornelas to boost his season output so far to 11, tops in the league.



Jacob Pritchard drove in four runners on Friday in Santa Ynez's 7-1 victory over Cabrillo. He went 2-for-3 and scored one run.

Robby Cano threw a shutout as he led Nipomo to victory over the Saints, 8-0, on Tuesday. He struck out five, allowing one hit.
