Baseball Game Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Lake Mills L-Cats

The Big Foot Chiefs will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Mills L-Cats at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Big Foot came up short against Evansville and fell 8-4.

Big Foot saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Skylar Jacobs was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Lake Mills also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Mount Horeb by a score of 7-4. The loss continues a trend for the L-Cats in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Mason Flood made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Big Foot's record now sits at 8-13. As for Lake Mills, their record is now 12-11.
