Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Clinton's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Clinton won the last time they faced LeRoy and things went their way on Friday too. The Clinton Maroons rang in the new year with a 62-52 win over the LeRoy Panthers.

Clinton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for LeRoy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Clinton and Eureka will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for LeRoy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
