Basketball Game Preview: Preble Shawnee Arrows vs. Madison Mohawks

The Preble Shawnee Arrows and the Madison Mohawks will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The timing is sure in Preble Shawnee's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Madison has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Preble Shawnee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Tri-County North to the tune of 67-38 on Friday. Given the Arrows' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Panthers are ranked 708th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Madison ended up a good deal behind Franklin on Friday and lost 59-42.

Preble Shawnee is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Preble Shawnee didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Madison in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.
