Volleyball Recap: Otto-Eldred Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Otto-Eldred won the last time they faced Austin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Terrors put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Terrors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While Otto-Eldred won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-20.

Rayel Hakes paced Otto-Eldred's offense, picking up seven kills. Hakes got some help from Emma Button and her 20 assists. Button was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Otto-Eldred's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Austin, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Otto-Eldred wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bradford on the 10th. As for Austin, they will challenge Cameron County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
