Basketball Recap: Obion County Takes a Loss

Obion County lost against South Gibson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Obion County Rebels took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Gibson Hornets.

Obion County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-8. As for South Gibson, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-10.

While Obion County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
