Baseball Recap: Buckingham Charter Takes a Loss

Buckingham Charter lost against Valley Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 13-3 to the Lions. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buckingham Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Griffin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Cruz Arias also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Buckingham Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Valley Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Valley Christian will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Delta Charter at 4:00 p.m. Buckingham Charter will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' matchup: after the Lions faces off against the Dragons, they'll take on Buckingham Charter again at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
