Softball Recap: Ballston Spa Takes a Loss

Ballston Spa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Averill Park Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Scotties have lost by just one run.

Livia Wiltsie and Madelyn Perrone stepped up to the plate in a big way. Wiltsie went 1-for-4 with one home run, while Perrone went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ballston Spa's record is now 10-9. As for Averill Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Ballston Spa nor Averill Park have any future games scheduled.
