Huntington Park took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Bell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Huntington Park got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 30-32, 25-22, 25-13, 13-25, 15-13.

Huntington Park's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 9-14. As for Bell, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
