Football Recap: Pocono Mountain West Drops Highest Score of Season Against East Stroudsburg South + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pocono Mountain West). Everything went their way against the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers on Friday as they made off with a 49-26 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Christian Stiehler was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 269 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 150.3 rushing yards per game.

Stiehler was just one part of a punishing run game: Pocono Mountain West was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Stroudsburg South only rushed for 119.

Pocono Mountain West's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for East Stroudsburg South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
