Football Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Cheney Blackhawks, falling 48-14. The Saxons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cheney, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ferris will welcome Central Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheney, they will take on Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks will need to watch out since the Bullpups have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
