Volleyball Recap: Woodridge Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Woodridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Streetsboro Rockets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win didn't come easy: Streetsboro scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-22.

Allyson Lorenz was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last four games. Bree Landon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Woodridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Streetsboro, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Woodridge has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 6th. As for Streetsboro, they will face off against Ravenna at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
