Volleyball Recap: Citrus Hill Comes Up Short

Citrus Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Tahquitz Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Leading Tahquitz to victory were Jaden Gonzalez and Marley Tuliau. Gonzalez had 24 assists and two aces, while Tuliau had eight kills, four blocks, and two aces. Tuliau is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last 18 games she's played dating back to last season.

Citrus Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Citrus Hill will face off against Banning at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Tahquitz has already played their next match (against Adelanto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
