After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin, Murphy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Rosman Tigers 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

While Murphy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 27-25.

The win got Murphy back to even at 7-7. As for Rosman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Murphy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Robbinsville on the 25th. As for Rosman, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Swain County on the 25th.
