Football Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Northview's offense. They were beaten by the Druid Hills Red Devils 35-0 on Thursday. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 28-12 to the Red Devils when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Drew Beane threw for 86 yards on 17 of 32 attempts. Gabe Workman was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Leading Druid Hills to victory were Devin Williams and Jackson Hampton. Williams rushed for 86 yards and one TD, while Hampton rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Williams really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Druid Hills, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northview will square off against rival Southwest DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Druid Hills is set to challenge their familiar foe Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
