League recap: Kentridge lifted by Wainhouse's performance at the plate

4A SPSL - North league recap: 5/14/12

Joe Wainhouse was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .600 average, four home runs and 10 RBIs. His Kentridge team went 3-0.

Taylor Jones was the best pitcher in the league this week. He accumulated one win and 15 strikeouts.

Kentwood's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 13 hits and six walks, both of which led the league. The Conquerors' pitchers have been charged with only 126 hits and have struck out 123 batters. Jones is tops on the staff with 45 Ks.

The Chargers' Wainhouse led the league with six hits this week. He is second in the league with 34 hits this year, and has a .540 batting average.

Joe Wainhouse was the player of the game on Saturday, with six RBIs in Kentridge's 9-8 victory over Auburn Riverside
