Soccer Recap: High Point Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, High Point Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Montgomery Central Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Montgomery Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in September.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Montgomery Central, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

High Point Central has already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Central Davidson on the 16th. As for Montgomery Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Randleman at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery Central's defense better be ready for this one: Randleman have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
