Football Game Preview: Moorcroft Wolves vs. Wheatland Bulldogs

Moorcroft hasn't had much luck against Wheatland recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Moorcroft is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Newcastle on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Wolves were outmatched by the Dogies and fell 46-6. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.

Meanwhile, Wheatland came up short against Tongue River on Friday and fell 14-7.

Moorcroft's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wheatland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Moorcroft took a serious blow against Wheatland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 42-0. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
