Volleyball Recap: Lake Zurich's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lake Zurich waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the DeKalb Barbs.

Leading Lake Zurich to victory were Malia McManus and Ella Elsen. McManus had eight digs and three aces, while Elsen had 12 assists. What's more, McManus posted two assists, the most she's had over her last five matches.

Lake Zurich's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for DeKalb, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.

Lake Zurich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Libertyville on the 17th. DeKalb has also already played their next contest (against Conant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
