Basketball Recap: Casteel Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williams Field, Casteel was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Pima Roughriders by a score of 41-29.

Despite the loss, Pima still got an impressive performance from Sadie Richardson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine steals. Richardson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Casteel's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Pima, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.

Casteel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-41 win against Tuba City on the 3rd. As for Pima, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-47 victory against Deer Valley on the 3rd.
