Basketball Recap: Bishop Snyder Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bishop Snyder can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 73-43 loss at the hands of the San Jose Prep Storm. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shelby Gaines, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and eight boards. Saige Grace was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Bishop Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for San Jose Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Bishop Snyder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Jose Prep, they will face off against Providence School on Saturday. Providence School will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something San Jose Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
