Volleyball Recap: Honeoye Falls-Lima Comes Up Short

Honeoye Falls-Lima was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mendon Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 21-25, 25-15.

Isabella Hendler paced Honeoye Falls-Lima's offense, picking up ten kills. Hendler got some help from Zoey Schrader and her eight assists. Schrader was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Honeoye Falls-Lima's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Mendon, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Honeoye Falls-Lima will take on Eastridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mendon, they will challenge Sutherland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
