It was a good run, but Shenendehowa unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Shenendehowa came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Monroe-Woodbury are ranked 27th).

Shenendehowa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Monroe-Woodbury, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.
