            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Deep Run). They put the hurt on Maggie Walker with a sharp  18-0 victory on Tuesday. The  win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with Maggie Walker: they've now won nine in a row.

Deep Run got a great performance from  Brooke Wommack as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave  Wommack a new career-high in  strikeouts (four).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Brooke Black, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. She also put up a  triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Braelyn Baulsir, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI.
 Deep Run  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They are 5-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Deep Run pushed their record up to 6-3 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games.
