Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Jackson Christian Eagles
The Trinity Christian Academy Lions were the 53-34 winner over the Jackson Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Trinity Christian Academy took a hard 48-32 fall against Jackson Christian on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while Jackson Christian is ranked 99th).
Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Mary Grace Cleek scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Arnold, who scored six points.
Trinity Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Jackson Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tipton-Rosemark Academy the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian Academy will head out to face Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jackson Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
