Baseball Recap: Weed Takes a Loss

Weed managed to slip by Hoopa Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 13-2 to the Warriors on Monday. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Weed saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Keen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Weed now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Hoopa Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Weed by a score of 3-2 later that day.
