Preview: Anniston Bulldogs vs. Lincoln Golden Bears
Anniston is 9-1 against Lincoln since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Anniston Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Lincoln Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Anniston is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln in Alabama (Anniston is ranked 57th, while Lincoln is ranked 393rd).
Last Thursday, Anniston earned a 58-46 victory over Talladega.
Meanwhile, Lincoln's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Sylacauga, falling 79-39.
Anniston's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
