Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Ridge). They claimed a resounding 73-44 win over the Harvest Prep Academy Eagle. The victory was familiar territory for the Mavericks who have now won nine games in a row.

Despite the defeat, Harvest Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore KJ Legette dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards. That was a full 47.7% of Harvest Prep Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Haro, who earned 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

South Ridge's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Harvest Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Ridge will square off against Southwest Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harvest Prep Academy, they will welcome Premier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
