North Surry was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Stokes on Thursday. The Greyhounds never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by eight runs or more this season.

North Surry is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Stokes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12-1.

North Surry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Stokes, they will face off against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
