Baseball Recap: West Washington's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

After flying high against Mitchell on Friday, West Washington came back down to earth. The Senators took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Academy Warriors on Saturday. The Senators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 16-3.

Alex Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Rosenbaum, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Washington fell to 12-1. As for Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6.

West Washington has already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Paoli on the 13th. As for Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-7 win against Trinity Lutheran on the 12th.
