Baseball Recap: Waubonsie Valley Victorious

Waubonsie Valley hadn't done well against Oswego East recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Waubonsie Valley walked away with a 6-2 victory over Oswego East. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Seth Gilliland tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Owen Roberts was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
