Basketball Recap: National Trail Comes Up Short

National Trail played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 47-17 defeat at the hands of the Arcanum Trojans. The contest marked the Blazers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Caroline Long had a dynamite game for Arcanum, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Madison Schwartz also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

National Trail's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Arcanum, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

National Trail didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-29 victory against Cambridge City Lincoln on the 14th. As for Arcanum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-35 defeat against Versailles on the 14th.
