Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Summertown's Ninth in Last Ten Outings + How To Watch

Summertown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Summertown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoei Bonner out in front who had 32 assists and seven digs. Bonner is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Emerson, who had 21 kills.

Summertown is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 41-9 record this season. As for Merrol Hyde Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 24-6.

Summertown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 23rd. Merrol Hyde Magnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
