After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastern Greene, Mitchell was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Paoli Rams. The Bluejackets haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Mitchell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Zeeks, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Zeeks has posted since back in April of 2024. Parker Reeve also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Paoli, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Mitchell will challenge Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Paoli, they will take on Eastern Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
