Football Game Preview: Carroll Tigers vs. Atlantic Trojans

Carroll is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Atlantic is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tigers will welcome the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Carroll's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.

Carroll is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 63-7 win over Perry. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-0.

Meanwhile, Atlantic hadn't done well against Harlan recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Trojans snuck past the Cyclones with a 35-30 victory.

Carroll's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Atlantic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Carroll came up short against Atlantic in their previous meeting back in October of 2017, falling 20-14. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
