Basketball Game Preview: Dinwiddie Generals vs. Clover Hill Cavaliers

The Dinwiddie Generals will venture away from home to face off against the Clover Hill Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-32, which was the final score in Dinwiddie's tilt against Matoaca on Thursday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Clover Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Monacan 68-36. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Chiefs are ranked 56th).

Clover Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Dinwiddie, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
