Softball Game Preview: Middlesex Bluejays vs. Piscataway Chiefs

Middlesex has gone a perfect 4-0 against Piscataway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Middlesex is taking a road trip to face off against Piscataway at 4:00 p.m. Middlesex will be strutting in after a victory while Piscataway will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Middlesex got the win against Carteret by a conclusive 12-2. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Ramblers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Piscataway had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Kennedy Memorial, falling 16-6.

Julianna Mena was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Everything went Middlesex's way against Piscataway in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Middlesex made off with a 20-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middlesex since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
