Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Pleasant Grove Vikings
The Lone Peak Knights won the last time they faced the Pleasant Grove Vikings, and things went their way on Friday too. Lone Peak sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over Pleasant Grove. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lone Peak.
Lone Peak had a senior duo take command as Thomsen Kramer scored 13 points along with five assists and Seth Haskett scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haskett has scored all season. Jackson Taylor was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Lone Peak's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Pleasant Grove, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing American Fork the next time they take the court. Pleasant Grove will host American Fork at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lone Peak will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
