Football Game Preview: Summit SkyHawks vs. Grand Terrace Titans + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Summit will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Grand Terrace Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit's defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so Grand Terrace's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Summit is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Kaiser 58-0 on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the SkyHawks' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Francisco Hernandez, who threw for 87 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Hernandez a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two).

Summit didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gavin Rister and Nickolas Miramontes.

Meanwhile, Grand Terrace beat Colton 28-19 on Thursday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Grand Terrace now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Everything went Summit's way against Grand Terrace when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Summit made off with a 39-14 win. In that contest, the SkyHawks amassed a halftime lead of 26-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
