Softball Recap: Greensville County Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Greensville County and Franklin pushed the score to 22-5 the last time they played Franklin, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Eagles never let the Broncos get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Greensville County pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-2.
