Baseball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Lebanon Yellowjackets. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jesse Hudson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four stolen bases and one run.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Lebanon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. James will square off against Capital City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lebanon, they will face off against Hollister at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
